Business process automation services
Business process automation services for a large company should change how a whole process runs, not script its current steps. Manthle's service takes one manual, critical process and rebuilds it with AI: models handle the routine cases, integrations act in the systems you already run, your people handle the exceptions, and Manthle's engineers run it with your team.

By the end of the pilot, one process works differently. A critical process that used to depend on people moving data between systems is run by an AI system that handles the routine cases and puts every exception in front of the right person, with the context to settle it. After the pilot, a team keeps it running.
The offer is narrow on purpose. Process automation consulting can begin with a long list of candidates; this engagement starts and ends with one process.
Who the service is for
The service is built for COOs and heads of operations at companies with thousands of staff. The process in question usually has three traits. It is too important to stay manual, because delays cost revenue or customers. It is too specific to your business for packaged software, because it runs across your own mix of systems and rules. And it is too complex for basic automation, because the inputs are messy and some cases need judgment.
Vendor chargeback disputes at a retailer, incident follow-up at a transit agency and contract renewals at a field services company are all processes of this kind. Each can depend on a few experienced people working across a dozen open tabs.
How the engagement runs
Take the retailer's chargeback disputes as the example.
See. Manthle's engineers pull a season of disputes from the deduction and accounts receivable systems, then go through them with the analysts who work them. The picture that matters: which retailers and which deduction codes carry the volume, how often the evidence sits in a warehouse system nobody checks, and how many disputes expire before anyone files them.
Rethink. With your process owner, the dispute process is redesigned before anything is automated. Evidence gathering that analysts do by hand for every case becomes a system step. Deductions below a value nobody would dispute are written off by rule. Decisions get assigned: some to models, some to rules, some kept by analysts. This is where business process reengineering thinking earns its keep.
Engineer. Manthle's engineers build the AI system around the redesigned process, connected to the deduction, order and warehouse systems, with the analysts' exception queue designed alongside the automation.
Harden. Before the system files real disputes, it is tested against the cases that cause trouble: retailer portals that change format, partial shipments split across invoices, deductions coded wrongly at source. Limits, approvals, fallbacks and an audit trail go in at this stage.
Run. Manthle operates the process with your team. The pilot is judged on measures agreed at the start. When it meets them, it becomes a monthly operations contract.
What the engagement covers
| What this engagement covers | What falls outside its scope |
|---|---|
| One process end to end, from discovery to operation | A company-wide automation strategy, which is a different kind of work |
| Redesign of the process before building | Scripting the current steps unchanged |
| Building on your existing systems | Replacing your systems of record |
| Designing the handoff to your people for exceptions | A handover-only build with no operation after it |
| Running the process after launch, under a monthly contract | Bot counts as the measure of success |
What your team keeps
In a dispute process, your analysts keep the disputes that need negotiation: the large deduction, the retailer relationship that matters more than the amount, the case where the evidence is ambiguous. They also review samples of the disputes the system filed and approve changes to the write-off rules. Your process owner, usually in finance or customer operations, keeps the outcome and the recovery target. Nobody on your side is asked to become an AI engineer.
How to evaluate a business process automation provider
Ask any provider, Manthle included, these questions:
- Will you show us the current process in data before proposing a design?
- Which steps will you remove, not only automate?
- Who handles the cases your system cannot decide, and what do they see when a case arrives?
- What limits stop the system from making a costly mistake on its own?
- What measures will the pilot be judged on, and what is the baseline?
- Who runs the process after launch, and what happens when an upstream system changes?
- Are you tied to one automation platform, and does that shape your recommendation?
If the answers on exceptions and on running the process after launch are vague, the build is what is for sale, and the outcome stays with you.
When another kind of firm fits better
If the steps are fixed, inputs are structured and the goal is to automate many small tasks quickly, an RPA implementation partner on your chosen platform is the faster route. The RPA vs intelligent automation comparison helps sort which situation you are in. If you do not yet know which process to start with, a process mining engagement will show you, and the process mining vs RPA page explains how the two fit in sequence. If you need a multi-year automation strategy across every function, a strategy consultancy is built for that.

You know what happens before we start.
One process, five steps. A pilot is measured against goals agreed at the start, and once it meets them, it becomes a monthly operations contract.
- 01
See
We spend time inside the process: its history, its systems, and the people who settle the hard cases by habit.
- 02
Rethink
With your process owner, we redesign before anything is automated: which decisions belong to a model, which to a rule, and which to a person.
- 03
Engineer
We build the AI system around the redesigned process, connected to the systems you already run, with the exception queue designed alongside it.
- 04
Harden
We test it on the cases that break things: incomplete inputs, odd edge cases, systems that go down.
- 05
Run
We operate it with your team, and keep it dependable as models, systems and policies change.
Questions
A full service covers discovery of the current process, redesign, building the automation and its integrations, hardening for production and ongoing operation, with a named owner for the exceptions.
An RPA partner usually deploys bots on a chosen platform. Manthle starts from one process, redesigns it, builds an AI system around it and stays to run it with your team.
Good fits are processes too important to stay manual, too specific to your business for packaged software and too varied for simple rules, such as chargeback disputes, supplier onboarding or billing adjustments.
Manthle builds on the systems you already run, such as billing, CRM, ERP and ticketing, and connects to each one through the integration route that system allows.
Work starts with a pilot on one process, measured against goals agreed up front, and a pilot that meets them becomes a monthly operations contract.
